One of the activities of Ukrenergo is to provide the access to cross-border capacity of electric networks of Ukraine to market participants in accordance with the requirements of Articles 38-43 of the Law of Ukraine “On Electricity Market”, Regulations (EU) 2015/1222, 2016/1719, 2019/943 and others.
On the basis of the above-mentioned regulatory documents, the relevant rules and distribution structure have been developed/are being developed for each border, which can be found at the link.
The cross-border capacity of the IPS of Ukraine – technical possibility of ensuring the supply of electricity through interconnectors in a certain direction taking into account the schedules for maintenance and repairs of power equipment of the IPS of Ukraine and power systems of neighbouring countries.
The electronic auction platform for allocation of cross-border capacity, where all the information related to the auctions is available, has been introduced and put into operation in Ukrenergo.
