  • Cooperation with EIB

We are actively developing our cooperation with the EIB (European Investment Bank). It invests in large-scale infrastructure projects in Ukraine. Thanks to cooperation the usage of installed capacity of nuclear power plants is significantly increased, emissions of harmful substances are reduced, as well as the stability of electricity supply to consumers is increased.

    Joint projects:

The key purpose of the project is to ensure the maximum use of the installed capacity of the Rivnenska and Khmelnytska NPPs, replacing the electricity generated by thermal power plants with the cheaper electricity generated by nuclear power plants, which in turn will save gas, fuel oil and coal and reduce emissions of harmful substances and greenhouse gases, improve the stability of electricity supply to consumers of the Kyiv power node due to the transit of surplus power from the western part of the IPS of Ukraine where both NPPs are located.
