  • Contest of children`s drawings on the occasion of the children`s day

    PS Zakhidna presents children`s paintings within the “Occupational safety through children`s eyes” contest. The contest lasted for two months. Children depicted their vision of the occupational safety and shown the awareness of the occupational safety importance.

    The contest engaged children and grandchildren of the employees from PS Zakhidna seven separate subdivisions and control unit.  Participants were divided into three age groups (6-9 years, 9-10 years and 13-16 years). A special jury chose the winners. Four winners were identified in each age group (three winning places and a special category “The best painting”). The awarding ceremony took place in their schools with the participation of PS Zakhidna representatives and school authorities. Children got diploma and special presents.

     Sergii Holubov, PS Zakhidna Labor Protection Department: «We are holding the contest for the fourth year in succession and children enjoy it a lot. Such creative events help to motivate children and to create an active, conscious attitude to the importance of safe working conditions and proper observance of safety rules. Moreover, children become aware of the high working culture and responsibility at a workplace”.

    It should be mentioned the contest of children`s drawings “Occupational safety through children`s eyes” is held annually prior to the World Day for Safety and Health at Work (28 April) supported by the trade union.
