- Implementing a new model of electricity market*available only in Ukrainian version
In order to ensure timely preparation for implementation of the Third Energy Package and in accordance with the draft Law of Ukraine On the Electricity Market, at the open meeting of 29 October 2015 NCREUS upheld drafts of the following documents:
Experts of the Energy Community Secretariat’s Project Office have prepared recommendations regarding functioning mechanisms of the new model of electricity market.
These recommendations have been thoroughly studied by experts of the National Commission for Regulation of Energy and Utilities Sectors, Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, Ukrenergo NPC SE and Energorynok SE, and reviewed by the Coordination Group for Implementation of the Plan. This document is not a draft regulatory act but a description document containing more detailed explanations of options for creation of a new model of electricity market according to the draft Law of Ukraine On the Electricity Market.

According to the Energy Community Treaty and the Association Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their member states, of the one part, and Ukraine, of the other part, Ukraine is working on implementing the standards of the European Union’s Third Energy Package in its national legislation.
As of today, the electricity market undergoes reform in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On the Principles of Functioning of Ukraine’s Electricity Market adopted pursuant to the Second Energy Package.
In order to adapt the Third Energy Package, a working group of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has developed, with participation of the Energy Community Secretariat, a draft Law of Ukraine On the Electricity Market, which the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed in the first reading on 22 September 2016.
The Schedule for implementation of a new model of electricity market, setting out a detailed list of measures and their fulfilment timeframes, was developed to coordinate actions and optimize work of Ukrainian and international experts on implementation of a new model of electricity market.

This is the first version of the draft regulatory document СОУ Н МЕВ 40.1-37471933-49:2011 “Designing 330 kV cable lines. Guideline”, revised according to the Plan of Ukrenergo’s Research and Design Center for Development of Ukraine’s IPS on Standardization in Electricity Sector for 2016 pursuant to the Order 305 of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine of 20.05.2015 on organization of standardization in the fuel and energy complex.
