Ukrenergo supported the joint initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility Development and the United Nations Population Fund – The Ukrainian Pact For Youth-2020. Its goal is to help solve problems of education and employment of young people. The issue of modernising and promoting energy education is one of Ukrenergo’s priorities, as the future of the Ukrainian energy industry depends on young professionals.
For Ukrenergo, participation in the Pact is an opportunity to realize the potential of young people in Ukraine’s electricity sector, as well as to provide the industry with new highly skilled workforce that will be competitive in the Ukrainian as well as the European market.
The company has already signed memoranda and is cooperating with Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and O.M. Another company’s signature project is Ukrenergo laboratories, already covering thousands of participants. It is the driver for the development of innovative projects in Ukraine’s electricity.
