40 procurement specialists of Ukrenergo successfully completed their training on professional procurement from the Kyiv School of Economics. This is Ukraine’s first corporate programme, tailored to Ukrenergo’s needs by the Centre for Procurement Improvement at the Kyiv School of Economics under the USAID Project for Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services.
Following the training, the participants have successfully passed exams and presented three pilot projects aimed at increasing the number of procurement participants, developing standard tender documentation and improving procurement of maintenance services for machinery and equipment.
The certificates obtained confirm the increased level of competence of experts, which is the basis of effective procurement.
“We intend to carry out such training regularly. This will significantly increase the competence of our staff and the quality of the procurement process of the company as a whole,” commented Maryna Bezrukova, Director for Supply Chain Management at Ukrenergo.
