On February 8, 2018 the working meeting between the representatives of the SE “NPC “Ukrenergo” and the SE “Moldelectrica” took place in Chișinău, Moldova. The meeting concerned the synchronous operation of the power systems of Ukraine and Moldova. The Ukrenergo`s delegation was represented by Oleksii Brekht, Deputy CEO, Chief Operational Officer at Ukrenergo, and Yurii Kudrenko, Head of the power systems synchronous operation ensuring unit.
The parties discussed the rehabilitation of the 750 kV OHL Pivdennoukrainska NPP – Isakcha with 400 kV voltage class as well as main technical solutions and ways of implementation.
Besides, the parties negotiated the joint actions concerning reconstruction of the cross-border 330 kV OHL Dnistrovska HPP – Beltsi with susoension of the groundwire including the fiber-optic line and mounting of the secure channel for transmission of the operational and technological data and connection via the transmission system operators. The Ukrainian party informed as well about the upcoming commissioning of the equipment at the 110 kV substation “Bolhrad” in order to ensure the capacity transit through the 110 kV substation Vulcănești-Bolhrad (reserve).
“One of the key results of the meeting – approval of the four annexes to the draft Operational agreement on establishment of the regulation unit within the Ukrainian and Moldovan power systems”, mentioned Oleksii Brekht, deputy CEO, COO at Ukrenergo. “We discussed and approved the settlement of the incidents at the cross-order overhead lines in accordance with the ENTSO-E technical requirements; as well we paid a great deal of attention to the provision on the data exchange”.
