Over the two months of the new electricity market, Ukraine has imported a total of 586 million kWh of electricity. In August, electricity imports increased by 13.4% and amounted to 311.4 million kWh.
This includes 164.8 million kWh of electricity supplied to the Burshtyn island in August: 147.3 million kWh – from Slovakia, 17.5 million kWh – from Hungary.
Another 146.6 million kWh were imported from Belarus.
At the same time, the total export of electricity from Ukraine since January 1 is 4032.8 million kWh, including 981.8 million kWh in 2 months of the new market. In August, Ukraine exported 490.1 million kWh, which includes 330.8 million kWh from the Burshtyn TPP island to the EU (Hungary, Slovakia, Romania), 108.8 million kWh to Poland, and 50.5 million kWh to Moldova.
