During the three months of the new electricity market functioning, a total of 937 million kWh of electricity was imported to Ukraine, which is 64% of the volume of exported electricity (1,457.7 million kWh) during the same period.
A total of 351.017 million kWh was imported in September. Compared to the first transactions in July, there’s growth in imports from Hungary (more than twofold) and Belarus (1.7 times), and a dip in imports from Slovakia.
Electricity exports in September amounted to 475.915 million kWh, including from the Burshtyn energy island into Hungary – 309.743 million kWh, Slovakia – 1.061 million kWh, and Romania – 1.786 million kWh.
Ukraine also exported 117.283 million kWh to Poland and 46.042 million kWh – to Moldova.
