German KfW bank delegation visited SS 330kV “Vinnytska”, SS 330kV “Khmelnytska”, SS 330 kV “Kamiianets-Podilska” and SS 750kV “Vinnytska”.
The visit occurred given the upcoming open procedure to select a Consultant to implement the project “Upholding energy-sufficiency in electricity transmission (reconstruction of substations)” by means of re-equipping the obsolete materials and machines.
According to the project, we previewed automatization of 9 substations at the Pivdenno-Zakhidna power system. The substations are situated in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsk, Chernivtsi and Ternopil region.
Delegation could observe the technical state of the substations, maintenance process and scope of work to be done during the reconstruction of the Pivdenno-Zakhidna Power system substations.
The Consultant will among others supervise the project, organize the technical expertise, observe the design documents and control the compliance of the general safety standards as well as the environmental standards.
It should be mentioned this is the first time Ukrenergo implements the international standards observing the national legislation, particularities of every object with the multi-stage system of measures to ensure the high-tech work performance sticking to the given time-limits.
Main target of the project is to uphold the energy-efficiency, security level of the equipment, reliability of transmission via Ukrenergo trunk power grids by means of upgrading the high-voltage stations equipment.
At the moment the Company has signed the financial agreements providing grants to fund the advisory services while implementing the joint projects with KfW.
