After additional testing, Kharkivska CHP-5 has increased the volume of its own certified manual frequency restoration reserve (mFRR, secondary regulation) up to 90 МW. On 1 June 2020, the company received the relevant Certificate of compliance with requirements for ancillary services, and earlier the company got a certificate in mFRR for 60 МW.
Please note that Kharkivska CHP-5 has also confirmed its ability to provide primary regulation ancillary services (frequency containment reserve (FCR) ±27 МW) and tertiary regulation (replacement reserve (RR) – 180 МW).
Total volume of certified FCR in the power system amounts to ±115 МW, aFRR – 1449 МW (±724.5 МW), mFRR – 3696 (-3645) МW, and RR – 4263 МW.
