In accordance with paragraph 4.5 of Section 4 of Chapter XIII of the Commercial Metering Code, a Distribution System Operator is obliged to assign EIC-codes of Z-type for all commercial metering points on the territory of licensed operation by July 19, 2018.
The assignment of all EIC-codes is performed by the Local issuing authority, currently by SE Energorynok, at the request of business entities.
When applying to the Local issuing authority for EIC-codes for CMP consumption units, grid limits and loss of metering zones, it is necessary to consider the following requirements for the content of code fields.

To ensure confidentiality of information about the CMP location, the Local issuing authority has to generate 12 last symbols of EIC-code randomly within the range of 000000000001 to 999999999999 using exclusively digital symbols.
