UKRENERGO NPC SE is a power company responsible for operational and technological control of the Integrated Power System (IPS) of Ukraine and electricity transmission via trunk power grids from generating plants to distribution networks of regional electricity suppliers (oblenergos).
The Company’s network includes eight regional power systems, covering the entire territory of Ukraine and employing over 13 thousand persons*.
Our personnel operate unique high-tech equipment at 137** high-voltage (220-750 kV) substations with the aggregate installed capacity of over 78 thousand MVA and over 21 thousand km of trunk and cross-border high-voltage (220-750 kV) power transmission lines.
Every year, UKRENERGO’s trunk power grids transmit over 110 billion kWh of electricity.
We facilitate simultaneous operation of the IPS of Ukraine with power systems of the neighboring countries, electricity exports to four EU member states and cross-border electricity flows between the IPS of Ukraine and power systems of three CIS states.
We invest almost UAH 5 billion a year in the new construction, modernization and improved effectiveness of power grids.
We enjoy trust of international financial institutions. The amount of our credit portfolio for investment projects exceeds UAH 40 billion.
The quality, environmental, occupational safety and health management systems we implemented are compliant with the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.
